Almost everything you pay for in a window disappears the moment it's fitted. This is what's inside ours.
Glazed from the inside
Every pane is bedded on the inside face, so the beads holding the glass can't be reached from the street. It also means upper-floor units go in from within the room rather than off a ladder.
Argon-filled sealed units
Argon gas fill and warm-edge spacer bars, edge-sealed with Bostik and tested to BS EN 1279 parts 2 and 3 — the parts measuring moisture getting in and gas leaking out, which is what decides whether a unit still performs in year fifteen.
BS EN 14351 systems
The European standard for windows and external doorsets: weathertightness, wind load, thermal transmittance and structural performance, all measured rather than asserted. Every system we fit conforms to it.
Nine-point door locking
Doors secure at nine separate points. Windows run a multipoint system with key-lockable designer handles — chosen on looks, but with a barrel in them.
Grade A virgin uPVC
Frames are extruded from virgin Grade A plastic rather than reprocessed offcuts. That is the reason the colour carries a twenty-year guarantee instead of a five-year one.
Insurance-backed for 10 years
Our ten-year guarantee is underwritten by the IWA. Because the cover is insurance-backed rather than a company promise, it stands on its own terms — not on ours.
